Q.
Why don't I just refinish my old tub?
A.
Refinishing is only a paint job that is very fragile and lasts only
a few years at best. Refinishing also requires delicate care.

Q.
Why does it cost so much to tear out and replace an old bathtub?
A.
It is costly because you must tear the room apart back to the wall
studs. You lose your wall system and your plaster or dry wall. Both
must be replaced. All of your plumbing must also be redone. Your
floor will need to be replaced, and your vanity and commode will
need to be removed and reinstalled. This is very labor intensive,
and it takes about 7 to 10 days to complete, with considerable dust,
dirt and mess.
